Sara Piepgrass

How many years have you been working in the legal industry? I have been in and around the legal industry for 12 years. I ran a court running business for six years until 2020 and the Covid pandemic, after which I pivoted and sold my business. After working in insurance for a few years, I very happily joined West Legal in December 2025.

If you weren’t an Assistant, what job would you be doing? I would be a preschool or elementary teacher. I love children and working with them. In a previous career, I worked with children with exceptionalities and adored my work.

What’s your favourite thing to do in your spare time? To see and spend time with my adult children! Family is central, so whatever I am doing with them is my favorite. When they ignore me, I spend time cooking.

What’s a charitable cause you like to support? I support the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Breast Cancer Foundation.
