Calem is a student-at-law who graduated with his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in 2025. During his time in law school, Calem was an active member of the Access 2 Justice Club and the Criminal Law Club, and was instrumental in developing and hosting numerous law events in the Kamloops community. Calem was also formally recognized by TRU for his commitment to providing access to free legal services through his extensive work at the TRU Community Legal Clinic.

Calem is a born and raised Calgarian who seeks out every opportunity to give back to his community. He is passionate about client advocacy and collaborative problem-solving. Calem has experience working with individuals from all walks of life through his previous work experience in the field of social services, as well as his volunteer work with the Mustard Seed, John Howard Society, and Alberta Health Services. Calem is committed to life-long learning and is excited to complete his articles at West Legal.

Outside of work, Calem enjoys reading novels by Stephen King , jogging in city parks, and trying to stay on his dirt bike when he rides in Kananaskis. Family and friends are a priority for Calem and he can often be found spending time with others, debating world events, telling funny stories, and playing poker
