Talina Handel

Talina Handel is a residential and commercial real estate lawyer with an extensive background in civil litigation. Talina was born and raised in Red Deer, Alberta, obtained her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Calgary and attended law school in Kamloops, BC, where she graduated from the Thompson Rivers University’s Faculty of Law in the top ten percent of her class and was the recipient of multiple course prizes (including the contract and family law course prizes). During her second and third years at law school, Talina worked as a teaching assistant for the Faculty of Law and as an editor of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. Prior to law school, Talina worked as a Legal Services Officer for Legal Aid Alberta, where she assisted low-income Albertans with their legal matters.

When she is not at the office, Talina can be found at a local playground chasing after her two young children, at the gym blowing off steam or curling up with a hot cup of tea and the latest suspense novel.
