Katherine (Kat) Brydges grew up as a competitive athlete. Now, she takes that competitive edge into the courtroom as a litigator specializing in the areas of commercial and civil litigation. Kat was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta where she obtained her undergraduate Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree. During her undergraduate degree, Kat found her passion for law when she assisted her business law professor in his doctorate thesis surrounding the legal complexities of keeping up to taxation of the cloud. Kat then moved to Calgary to complete her Juris Doctor Degree at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law. In law school, Kat was nominated for “Best Hair” and Chair of Student Life. In her legal career, Kat has successfully appeared in the Alberta Court of Justice and Court of King’s Bench of Alberta on highly contentious matters. However, she believes in a holistic approach with clients where a client’s best resolution can often be found outside of a courtroom.
When Kat is not at the office, she can be found in the mountains. She will either be training for another marathon, hiking, mountain biking or skiing.
