Talina Handel

Talina Handel is a real estate lawyer with an extensive background in civil litigation. Talina graduated from Thompson Rivers University’s Faculty of Law in the top ten percent of her class and was the recipient of multiple course prizes, including the Contract and Family Law course prizes. During her second and third years at law school, Talina worked as a teaching assistant for the Faculty of Law and as an editor of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law. Prior to law school, Talina worked as a Legal Services Officer for Legal Aid Alberta, where she assisted low-income Albertans with their legal matters.

Talina currently serves as the Canadian Bar Association’s South Real Estate Section Representative on the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) Forms and Practice Committee. In this role, she collaborates with industry stakeholders in the review and refinement of standardized real estate forms used across the province.

When she is not at the office, Talina can be found at a local playground chasing after her two young children, at the gym blowing off steam, or curled up with a hot cup of tea and the latest suspense novel.
